1. DEFINITIONS
In these terms and conditions the following expressions shall, unless the context otherwise requires, have the following meanings:
“Exhibition” means Totallyweddings Exclusive Exhibitions
“Exhibitor” means any person to whom space at the exhibition shall have been allotted under the contract and shall include all staff, employees, servants and agents of such person.
“Exhibit” means any article so described by the Exhibitor and permitted by the organiser to be exhibited.
“Setting Up Time” means the time allotted for the exhibitors to set up the stand.
“Break Down Time” means the time allotted for the exhibitors to dismantle and remove their stand.
“Venue” this is the location the exhibitions are to take place.
“Organiser” means Totallyweddings.com and/or other appointed by them to organise the exhibition together with their agents, servants and workmen.
“Space” means the area allotted to the Exhibitor by the organiser.
“Stand” means all erections on the Space
2. DURATION OF EXHIBITION AND TIMETABLE
A the exhibition, B the Open Hours, C the installation period; and D the dismantling period are or will be as stipulated by the organiser in the exhibition manual or otherwise.
3. CONTRACT FOR SPACE
The organiser reserves the right to accept or reject any application for space from any potential exhibitor. There is no automatic right for an exhibitor to participate in any other subsequent exhibition.
4. OCCUPATION OF STAND
Subject to the rights of the organiser in this agreement, the exhibitor shall have a licence to occupy the space for the purpose of displaying exhibits and other articles, items and materials with in the scope of the exhibition for the duration of the exhibition. The exhibitor shall install its exhibits, articles, items materials and stands during the setting up time and remove its exhibits, articles, materials and items and stands during the break down period.
5. PAYMENT
All deposits are non-refundable.
The organiser reserves the right to refuse to let the exhibitor occupy the space if the organiser has not received/cleared funds.
No space will be reserved for an exhibitor without full payment.
6. CANCELLATION BY EXHIBITOR
A. Under all circumstances deposits are non-refundable
B. In the event that an exhibitor requests to cancel its space booking after acceptance by the organiser; or
C. Fails to meet any of the payment obligations; or
D. Fails to occupy the space allotted to it by the opening time on the first day of the exhibition THEN the organiser reserves the right to treat the booking as being cancelled and apply the following cancellation charges:
CANCELLATION OCCURRING CANCELLATION CHARGE
More than 3 months before the show 50% of total charge
Less than 3 months before the show 100% of total charge
7. GENERAL OBLIGATIONS OF THE EXHIBITOR
The exhibitor shall:
A. Occupy the stand and space, complete any necessary stand fittings works. Ensure the stands is appropriately dressed and maintained and that all exhibits are in position no later that the end of the set up time.
B. Keep the stand appropriately dressed and maintained and that all exhibits are in position no later than the end of the setting up period.
C. Remove all exhibits, fittings, rubbish and other items no later than the end of the breakdown period
D. Not to cause or permit anything which shall in the opinion of the Organiser constitute a nuisance or which may be an infringement of any license held by the Organiser.
E. Not to cause, permit anything which may cause damage, disfigurement or injury of any kind to the venue or to the person or property of the organiser, owner or any other exhibitor or any visitor.
8. POWERS AND DISCRETION OF THE ORGANISERS
The organiser shall be entitled to
A. Allocate to the Exhibitor any space
B. Alter the position or layout of the Exhibition and any stands including stand and space.
C. Refuse entry to any person or remove any person whose in the presence in the opinion of the organiser is or is likely to be undesirable.
9. EXHIBITORS LIABILITY FOR LOSS OR DAMAGE AND INDEMNITY
A. All exhibits, fittings and all other items brought into the Exhibition by the exhibitor shall be the sole responsibility of and the sole risk of the exhibitor which the exhibitor should have insurance to cover this eventuality.
B. The organiser shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to such exhibits, fittings or items however caused. |
